Anyone try to make a donation recently and payment not going through?....tried all 3 hubs multiple times and not going through?

A debit or credit VISA card should work fine.

If you are in the U.S. and are trying to use a VISA (gift card or a temporary cash card) that you bought at a store they will not work any more. They used to work but the Patriot Act has made it to where temp cards cannot be used internationaly.

I had the same problem -all three hubs/gateways kept saying unsuccessful. Ended up trying them about a dozen times before suddenly Fashionpay worked. From my experience, it seemed to have something to do with encryption. I use Linux and I kept getting a browser message warning about the encryption. Finally I answered cancel instead of continue and next thing I knew I was getting a confirmation email that my payment had been received. Go figure. All I can suggest is to try and try and try. BTW, when I last checked, the web site was not taking western union anymore.

horhota is correct, if you have a card that doesn't work then it doesn't hurt to try it 6-8-10 times and maybe one time it will go through.

He is also correct that 'at least for now' they are not taking Western Union, if you go to their site you will see that there is nothing mentioned about WU because they are not accepting funds through that now, don't know if that is permanent or not.

Take all the dashes out of your phone number when making a payment - eg. 519-650-2398 should be 5196502398

If your in the states a prepaid card works in the states only...... from what I have read,,, someone said the service was over seas,,,, anyone really do their homework and do a whois and trace-route?,,,,,,,,, homework PPL!

I recommend moving to another server. The are plenty but a bit of reading on your part is required.

All I will say is that I wouldn't deal with anyone with their server in the states unless we are talking a 'true private server' but those aren't on here. All that Dick has to do for an IKS server in the states is get a court order and drive there with the Sheriff or Feds and walk in and walk out with all the gear and all the records of purchases.
