NOI for Windows 8

I just finished installing Windows 8 on my PC and now find that NOI will not open. It goes through the normal routine asking me for permission to allow access to my machine (as it always has done when you start it up after a restart of the PC) but then nothing happens and it does not show up on my task bar. Is there a new version of NOI that I should be using with Windows 8? thanks for reading my post and any advice/suggestions are much appreciated.
