New Name for OpenBox

I've been testing the eyebox x5 for almost a month now and for its price I would highly recommend it for true fta and for internet access.

They did well with this receiver. With its huge processor this is the fastest blind scanning receiver I have ever tested and its tuner is even more sensitive then my azbox.

does this box work on turbo fec, i have been looking for a new box to test and for under 40 usd, this looks good for true fta, but i have a bud that wants a new hd turbo fec box, that why i was asking about turbo fec.

Iq180 Its OK to ask about the Turbo stuff but all the receivers I find interesting to post are for the True FTA world, is the Hobby I like most, I am not saying don't ask, always ask, like my signature says about questions, there could be a day where I find a receiver interesting and might be able to do Turbo without me knowing it. Hint, I once for a friend google the Turbo Fec thing and found a few Oriental sites that have receivers with turbo fec built in, when he tried to purchase it received by email from USA Government Office saying this receivers are not allowed to be sold nor enter the USA. if you have questions PM Me I can give you copy paste of few documents he got.....

Costa so you are saying that this EYEBOX X5 is actually an OpenBox X5? The thing I didn't like about the OpenBox X5 was that demulates 8PSK only, it doesn't do 16APSK, maybe I am worrying about something not worth worrying about, Thanks Turbo

The receiver says openbox on the outside but if you go into the system menu, it's called the Eyebox x5.

If you kill it,no way to recover.
I will pass on that one.

google sunplus 1512a,the processor they use in it.
They got away from using the ali processors for that receiver.
