Not much.....It's for running a second receiver, but the second receiver is slaved to the same satellite and transponder as the main unit.
Some use it as an input for a secondary tuner or 8PSK card.
Other that that it's useless.

No......You need ether an RF output (TV channels 3 or 4) a video/audio output (yellow, red, white RCA jacks) an S video or component video, these can be split and run to a second TV set. RF can be run several hundred feet, video needs to be converted to RF.
HDMI outputs can also be split but running them more the 10 to 15 feet needs some expensive converters, these converters can send the HDMI signal over a CAT5/6 cable to the inverter and back to HDMI, this can be run several hundred feet.

So is it possible to have two tvs connect to one box at the same time?

Do you have a yellow red white RCA jacks?
If you do then go to radio shack and get a video to RF converter box, this will convert the video/audio to RF on channel 3 or 4, some can be set to other channels.

What I did was purchase a Nexxtech 4-PORT HDMI SPLITTER and a lMonoprice 75ft 22AWG CL2 Standard HDMI Cable With Ethernet - Black . The cable is quite stiff so I connected to the back of TV with a short HDMI cable and a Monoprice/Solidmate HDMI Coupler (Female to Female). This was a little pricey route to follow but picture perfect, rather than another receiver, subscription, switches etc. Everyone to there own but this was my best solution and can still add another TV.
