I recently put a few minutes of effort into getting my old Viewsat 9000HD and XFTA out of the boneyard.
Prior to this I was using a Nanosat Premium SE.
This might not make much sense, but it is like night and day. People always say it is NFPS and not the receiver that causes freezing. This little experiment seems to say otherwise.
With the Nanosat, watching something on NFPS was almost unbearable due to chronic freezing.
With the ancient Viewsat 9000HD, I experience almost no freezing at all.
Is this just a coincidence? Opinions anyone?
I was going to try playing with the old Nfusion HD with the NOI next to see how it performs. As an aside...can the NFusion HD work with the XFTA? That XFTA is just so damn convenient and simple.
I think you may have something there. I have 2 Sonicview 360P receivers and 2 codes. Both running SVLAN 28 files. One has freezing while the other seems to run almost flawless. The network settings are the same. I always wondered why and how can I fix the one that freezes more.
