Too much of freezing channels using NFPS and Nano Se Premium receiver

Hi its been 4 days now i bought NFPS for Nano Se premium Receiver . Server 2 ..... Port 16110 .. Domain 2.NFPS.BZ . . My channels are freezing to much like after every 2 to 3 minutes . I m not sure is this because of NFPS or its my NANO SE Premium . I am so freakin UpSeT rite now i can not freakin watch any channel with out freezing and weired Scrambling sound . I tried every single possible thing to fix this issue . I switch from domain to Ip and IP to Domain .. Keep doing ReBooting but no result . I need help to fix this freakin issue ... Thank you in ADVANCE

From my read I would say it is nfps and not the receiver. I have the premium and have had quit a bit of freezing and the what I call the wood pecker effect. It may run for a while and be fine and then begin freezing again. Just like now. I had a few freezes earlier and now it has been fine for a least 20 minutes or so. Nature of the beast so to speak. I'm sure they are aware of it and working on it.

Also this has been an off and on issue for a few days now.

There is minor freezing at the moment . I hope server staff can fix it as soon as possible.. Thanks..

try switching to IP addy & do a reboot ... I have a lower port # on my premium & it seems to work

16110 seems to be an ongoing problem...

here is what I did and it seems to sovle this problem......... I am on 16010.

I set up severs 1 $ 2 the same and changed to "Domain", have been going now for approx 4-5hrs with out freezing.

Had nano2 and premiums...they say they can run mlti servers but in my opinion thats not the case without freezing etc. now as P$ servers do not play nice together....i had one in server 1 and one in 3 or 2 and 4 seemed to calm it down but it was still there...when i disabled all the other server and only enabled the one i was watching voila it was great but not perfect but you get what you pay for in P$ servers ...no p$ server is perfect just the nature of the beast.....

Since NFPS has a numeric ip, the upper case address, and a lower case one as well... I put them in server 1, 2, and 3 respectivly (Im using NOI and nFusion). It did help things a great deal. I thing sometimes the numeric works better, other times not. It has cut down the freezing drasticly but theres still some...

NOI only connects to one server at a time. If theres no connection it moves on to the next, and so on. Before I tried this method I had continual freezing since I got a new port assignment (16110) a month ago. When putting in only one server address it was hit or miss what was working... and even then it wouldnt last long before Id have to go change address to hope for a watchable picture.

You PPL have to remember 2, that sometimes NFPS starts their maintenance early on a sunday eve. and it carries over to Monday, Remember the old announcement post, That NFPS reserves Mondays for maintenance.

Exactly! and it appears that they waited until the end of the NFL wild card games to start their maintenance. Freezing started shortly after the end of the last game for me anyway on 10510. This morning running solid on 119 channels. Haven't tried 129 this am yet.

The nanosats may be the issue...that crazy loud machine gun scrambling sound is unique to them. I recently switched from a nanosat to a viewsat (old hd one) and experience next to no freezing....and ZERO screeching sounds

The only wachable channels for me since I loaded 3.20 on my nano premium se are the movie channels and ppv. Basic channels freeze constantly, can't watch.

Premium Se uses different files from the Premium... if you have freezing problems with the Premium make sure your server info is up to date as there have been many changes recently

Yes! make sure you use the proper files for your rec., either you have a premium, or the SE model.
