Hi , ok so currently I got one dish with 119/118 lnb. I have currently 2 receivers , want to add 3rd receivers. The switches I have with me are zinwell 4x4 (2 of them) and zinwell 3 x 4 (3 of them). what is the best way to setup with those switches. If any body can help me, much appreciated.

thanks

you can use either but i would use the zinwell 4x4 which you can connect 2 sats (118/119 combo plus another sat) and use 3 4x1 diseqe's for each receiver with the option of adding a fourth receiever...

If you use the 4x4 switch, you don't need to use the Diseqc switches. Both satellites appear on the outputs of the 4x4, and the receiver will switch between them as needed.

what box?

if using zinwell 4x4

Make sure you box is off when disconnect RG6 cable.

you have two wire come one lnb to right side of the 4x4 it should be mark on the switch as 13 and 18 (it don't metter what wire is 13 or 18 as long it from the same lnb)
then you have next lnb two wire going to the other side of the switch.
Then on the out port you run line to STB.
Make so you ground your dish and switch.

On receiver there should be setting to turn 22khz on or off with setup below 119 is on 22khz so want it on and 110 need it off.

Sorry could not upload a pic. (but if go to google image type in "4x4 zinwell" it the first pic)
But i made a pic out of text hope it help..

hi sat thanks for your reply but sorry still i have confusion.

I have currently two receivers KBOX and Limesat. My third receiver is going to be Nanosat Premium SE.

The switches that I currently have with me 2 Zinwell 4x4 and 3 Zinwell 3x4.

Satellite that i have is 118/119 (one lnbf)

So what is the possible setup with those switches . Sorry for not understanding but I truly right now don't get it. :(

hi but how is this possible because i thought we can only have from zinwell 4x4 2 receiver?
it's the other way around, zinwell 4x4 is for 2 sats and upto 4 receivers and you can expand on that if needed...

ok so all i need to do right now is run the cable from my 4x4 zinwell switch to my 3rd receiver because i already have the zinwell 4x4 feeding other two receivers.

Do not use white cable outside, order black. The white cable is not UV resistant and will deteriorate pretty quick. Depending on how long of a run you need, I would look for one with a pure copper center conductor.

hi so which one to get .

Depends on how far it is from the switch to the new receiver, if under 75 feet then RG-6 with a pure copper center conductor and rated to 2.5 to 3 GHz will work. (black or white)

If over 75 feet the RG-6 quad with the same copper center and same frequency rating.

If under 50 feet then almost any RG-6 rated for satellite service will work.

If over 150 feet then RG-11 should be used.

•100 RG6 cable

•Dual Shielded 60% bare Aluminum braid, 100% aluminum foil shield, PVC jacket.

•75Ohm coax cable for installation of cable television, antenna, satellite and video systems.

The copper plated steel center conductor is not that good for satellite service, and if it gets wet it will rust.

That will work, as long as your LNB's are not from Dish or Bell, (DP or DPP logo on them) they use a high frequency band (1450 to 2150 MHz) to get the "L" polarity transponders down to the receiver.

Other standard LNB's still use the +13 and +18 volt switching.
