With Beavertv, what's the best box for Bev, especially HD? I have an Nfusion hd just for Bev & it works as well as ever but it never works very well. Noi is a-noi-ing & always a hassle.

Sonicview 8000 was highly considered a couple years ago, they stopped making them, lots of newer boxes out there. I don't need bells & whistles, & already have an I-link 9500 for just DN. Maybe some post Xmas bargains out there.

A good question for Ruthie but better post here first.

I have more pixalation on dish and less or no pixalation on bev. It doesn't related with server's stability or signal quality.

Find a green module on ebay. Red is pixalation and heating issues.

So far in my shopping research the Dreamlinks are more available & for less $ than the others. I would however have to buy another version of the 8psk board cuz the one I have for my nfusion is different. It would however fit one or both of the SV & VS boxes.

Yeah gotta wonder what they have going over a new model Dreamlink.

& though they might have great features, the legal troubles & discontinued status is not encouraging re future support.

I have dream link hd and a limesat hd.

Dreamlink Hd has pixels, freezes and random disconnections with the server for DN. however, Bev server works flawless...always.

I have a seperate server connected for bev and one for dish.

Limesat however, works fine with dish. No problems. Haven't tried bev on it though!

Well since I'm only looking for Bev, my q has been pretty much answered: Dreamlink. My old I-link 9500 does DN flawless, almost like the Energizer Bunny.

Might drive to Scarberia on Monday & pick one up for $200.

Good price! I paid $220 for mine unfortunately! Scarberia? Scarborough? Lol nice nickname considering the snow we got hit with in the gta

Deepest, darkest, Scarberia, lol. Kennedy Rd is known as the FTA mall, at least 7 places to compare
and each will cut the others price for a cash sale (if you know what i mean). They look worried when you
don't barter.
Flea Market on Eglinton just around that area has 3-5 FTA booths scattered among the gold buyers.

Well today someone with my iks provider pm'd me about the Jynxbox but no1 here has mentioned it so that's not a good sign. I'm in process of researching it out, it seems a more complex box but for same $ as the Dreamlink.
