I'm trying to combine NFPS and Rocket subs in one instance of NOI. I'd hoped to set it up so if one goes down then it would automatically switch to the other.

I can bring NOI up and go to Advanced Settings to input subscriber info for both Southern servers. I've checked off "Use these settings". When I hit Start, however, it takes me to the "Monitor" tab and I can't proceed any further from there. It doesn't seem like anything's happening. What am I supposed to do in the Monitor tab?

I expected snow on the NOI screen, but I never see it with two Servers entered in Advanced Settings. It goes directly to "Monitor". When I switch back to single-server use everything works great again.

How, exactly, can NOI be programmed to use more than one server? Thanks.

It will work when you activate a channel!

And when you activate the channel, it will tell you what server (1,2,3,4) you are using for the north and south

Once everything is setup in the advance settings it will take you to the monitor, but if you select main, when it is running, you will see the countdown, but as far as using rocket as a backup if NFPS goes down, well hate to say this but rocket will be down too! They use the same DES key.

And when you activate the channel, it will tell you what server (1,2,3,4) you are using for the north and southFor some reason, when I use the "Advanced Settings" my N.O.I. will only switch between two servers no matter how many I try. When I list four, it will only switch between server 1 and server 2. Never to 3 and 4. Does anyone have an explanation?

Also, on certain channels it will stay connected for a very short peroid, usually 3 to 5 minutes, and then lose connection, saying "Suns Not Connected." At first, I thought it was a problem with the server, but when I changed out receivers, everything was solid. I know it must be a N.O.I. problem, but haven't found the solution. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help

So you purchased 4 different servers, When the first 2 go down, then it will try to connect to the 3rd, and so on. What it means so far is between your first 2 servers , they haven't went down long enough yet, to try and connect to the third. Did you change the gateway in the receiver, that was having problems, to your comp. IP.

I have since found that the "advanced settings" of N.O.I will only work between two servers. I select two by deleting the port number from the other two. If I find that one is down, I select two that are working. For example, when selecting servers 1 and 3, I delete the ports from 2 and 4. If I don't delete any of the ports from the four servers, N.O.I. will only switch between servers 1 and 2. Likewise, if I delete the port numbers from from 1 and 3, N.O.I. will switch between servers 2 and 4. Just remember, only two servers work at a time. Or, when unchecking "advanced settings," N.O.I. will work only the server listed in the main setting.
