After installing the Hd board, it shows no signal from the lnb's.

Remove the Hd board , reinstalled the SD and works fine.

Did I get a bad Hd little board or is there something in the set up ?

mario3, did you remove one of the square, black plastic spacers on the main board where the HD module mounts? You can take one of the spacers off with a pair of needle nose pliers. It gives you much better contact with the pins and is recommended.

Thanks Glat, but what jumper are you talking about?

One more clue, I've notice that the hd board remained cool after I left the receiver turned on for many hours, most info says that this board usually gets hot , this one has a aluminun heath sink instead of the original foam. Maybe I got a DOA board, but meanwhile I'll keep on tryng , tthat's what this hobby is all about.

Cheers

Thanks Kid , I think so, if the unit works with the sd board it's got to be the hd board.
