i bought an nano 2 and i will like to get it on an server and an setup but im not sure what to do to get it started any help thanks i have my sat set on 110-119

my nano2 didnt come with a null cable what kind do i need to buy an stright are what to use my laptop threw comport

I reposted the link for u for the how to guide , for some reason the first link did not work, you have to convert the nano2 for it to work so after you convert it , it will then be a I-Link

Please use ONLY the thread you started , if you have more than one going it gets a bit confusing, if it needs a null cable thats what is needed, you can get one a radio shack, you need to do a bit more reading on this topic and then post back any questions bud

im tring to figure out if you have to uses you pc for the nano2 are can you hook up to your router and not use a null cable since i dont have 1 im not sure if you have to us pc are not i cant find that in the forms for setup

No as of now the nano2 will not work with the client or pc via serial port with null cable or adapter. You will need to convert it over to ilink per link in post 2 above.

i got it converted to ilink i will used dangle then but i see rocket and nfps but in nfps it says there files will only work with new nano2 boxes i converted it to ilink so will it work i want to use nfps but not sure if it will work

Not sure but you maybe getting the nano2 confused with the nanosat. I don't have mine converted right now but it has worked with the nano2 conversion in the past. But there are no guarantees in any of this. What works or is here today maybe gone the next.

i converted my nano convert to ilnk to rocket server setup everything corret hooked dangle to my router and all im getting is scrambled i scanned sat too
