bell hd dish.

Hello! I have bell dish and want to get 110,119 ! I am experimenting for the fun of it and like to no what my scew is and elevation to hit them both! Eventually modify 30 inch dish to recieve them both. Thx hope to have some help.

Go to dishpointer.com and enter your personal information (location ,street address,etc) and select the sat(s) u wish to view..
The results will show you the look angle azimuth and skew angles..

Just because u are pointed at the sat does not mean u will be able to view it except as a scrambled channel.. ;)

If the dish has two ln b then no modification is needed, just realign. You do however need a fta receiver that is iks compatible to view 110 119.

ya it has two lnbs on it! But it was set up for bell, so i am sure ill have to change the scew to get dn 110,119 and i have nano premium and few viewsats and just waiting for my fta router to come.

u will have to change more than the skew... as those sats are in a different spot in the sky..

Thats what i figured! It set right now on scew 74 and elevation 27 so i no i have to change it and set it right to hit both birds lol!

bell dish is the same as dn 500 (use for 110/119). The best thing to do is use dishpointer.com to get elevation azimuth and skew (also it give over what direction to point the dish). Next cover the lnb side eye label 82w (if not mark it lnb on the right looking from the back dish) use 91w to point to 119w use the data from dishpointer. Once 119w is lock on you can uncover the lnb tweak the dish to receive both 110w and 119w. The cover of lnb is done so you don't point the wrong lnb at the wrong sat.

I find it lot easier if you have someone inside watching the tv to see what sat and Q i am get when i move the dish tell over the phone (take like 30 min for me vs 4 hr running in out of the house).

Also make sure that 119/110 spot is clear there nothing block the line of sight (like tree, building ..etc).
