looks nice. why aren't others adding sata connection? Pansat 9200 was a nice unit back in the day and had the same thing.

my azbox hd premium plus has a sata connection, and i have a 1tb hard drive in it and it works great, all fta recivers should have
this option, my azbox is 3 years old, lol

because it is still the best reciver on the market, other than the fact there is no turbo fec it is perfect, best reciver ever, infact i am
thinking about a turbo tunner for it.

and the turbo does what? So why do you think it is the best?

The panny 9200 didn't do turbo fec either. Quite honestly I don't know if the azbox in any of it's flavors does turbo fec or not. I'm over charles and david, so I'm probably not the best person to ask.

lol, lets just say it has lots of extra mustard on the dog, and if the az me has the power of the premium plus it will be a great
fta reciver, the turbo fec is not needed for true fta at this time.

My panny 9200's power supply bit the dust, which is why I broke out the azbox. I'll probably re-cap the panny's power supply because it is still a great box. I had to get TV back up and running for "the other one" or someone would take an axe to my dish farm. Need to hunt for some 4.2.2 feeds with the new azbox and then we'll be talking!

The panny already has a turbo fec board. Mine came with one but I put in the new dvb-s2 blind scanner instead. I quite honestly don't remember the manufacturer of the turbo fec board on it though. One does exist.

4:2:2 CBS feeds in hd are awesome on Sunday when you want to watch some football. My panny 9200 also has the dvb-s2 unit but takes forever to blind scan.
