I've been up all morning (and now afternoon) using nFusion Solaris and NOI on port 11110... no problems at all. Was up with only minimal freezes most of the weekend. You mite want to look in the section for your specific machine to see how others using your method are doing. If others are doing OK it mite be a good idea to ask questions in that section of the forum.

Let me clarify.... 10910 is completely down using 62.212.88.227. Changing to 37.46.112.201 connects with very few channels.

62.212.88.227 is not down. It is not a valid address for NFPS. makes total sense changing to a correct address would work better. LOL

hey there, in a pickle here and need all the help i can get. had been on port 10410 with nano premium and all was good until 2 weeks when most channels were lost. i tried loading factory bins and eventually deleted my user name and password. i got new password and user name. tried everything and no luck. it says no signal after i input the info for server, domain, ip etc and complete channel search, it says connection 2 but it trips within 5 secs and no connection comes up. since my port 10410 has no username or password, how do i switch to 10610? help help help
This is best asked in your box maker's forum.We have no idea what box your using.
Try going to your setup page and simply highlighting the port area and inputting the numbers with the remote.
Not sure if it works that way with your box....
I'm sure you'll get it figured out.

Instead of using the domain name use the correct i.p. address for your port. For example if you're using port 10510, use 37.46.112.201

Dns fail is an issue on your end.
Re-enter the info again and reboot all. Start with your modem/router and then the box.

I think it should be pretty obvious that something new has happened today as many providers are currently having issues and are down or are up with limited channels.
Some are up with glitching and some are up but freezing.

It's a bad time to be trying to figure out what an issue with connections might be.

The Nfps people still advise the ip addy be used for connecting and those I have talked with says it was working before todays issues and is still connecting but glitching at times.

nfps is still saying to use the i.p. addy to connect to the server and its been working fine for me but its not my main server for watching satellite,how ever i did watch it earlier today for about 1 hr with some freezing but not too bad and as of right now its up using the i.p. addy. Having more than one provider come up with the same problem at the same time is fairly common.

When you say its a bad time to figure config problems... I'm guessing you mean its never a good time to mess with settings while the servers down (very good advice)?
