Im using NOI and a nFusion Solaris... both systems are well known for freezing like crazy... but this afternoon it hasn't even hiccuped once! I'm watching NASCAR on ESPN since before 3PM EST and all is good. That almost never happens for me.

If you haven't tried re-booting, give it a try. I'm sure you know this but turn off your modem, router, then the STB (receiver). Wait a minute or 2 then power them back up in the same order. Power up:

Modem... wait about 2 minutes...
Router... again 2 minutes...
STB (using main power switch on the back, not the remote).

Hopefully that will fix things up for you.

BTW... I'm sure you already knew this and had tried it. I just thought Id tell you i case it had slipped your mind. If it works or not, post your results so we can learn from your situation...!

Only Limesat receivers have a problem and they knew about it and working on a resolution.

Been crappy since IP change. Viewsat with x -fta. Been good last couple of weeks with intermittant loss (time outs). Most up time only 5-10 seconds and the occasional 1/2 hour if lucky without having to stop/start connection. Then repeats cycles. This has been story too frequently. Used to be a good service. Too unreliable and reading much worse than others out there.

I had the same problem after the ip change I rescanned then did a hard reboot that worked great for me try it.

Wish they'd just state the situation, rather than having all the genius's on this and other sites saying reboot everything and all will be well. You can reboot everything "til the cows come home", but if the problem lies elsewhere (NFPS servers or whatever), it ain't gonna help.
