*Awesome Must See Movie "Battleship"!!!!

Battleship is simply great!! I enjoyed watching every minute of it.. If you love the Military, and love seeing a good fight... Check this movie out.. I am still smiling from watching it! I wish I saw it in the theaters. I liked is so much I went to Best Buy earlier tonight and purchased the Blu Ray. :)

I hate to be the white elephant in the room but it was not loved over here. I found the writing not so good, the story line was ridiculous and as far as possible( as much as you can get with an alien genre), horrible. I understand that rhianna is a star but she is a gunner so why is she at the decision making table. Really, her along with the 2 captains deciding the course of action. unbelievable. Sorry, .5 star at best. The spinning grinders where cool. I can't imagine how a person could stop that.

I tend to agree with splitshot...... nice action shots but... It took too long for the plot to develop ... After all the name of the movie is Battleship... I like the part where they hugged the coastline... I was expecting an costa concordia type hull gash tho... lol... the wife & kid enjoyed it... me... not so much ... the storyline was ...well unbelievable doesn't begin to describe.. I mean an American Commander giving up command to a foreign captain,,, only in your dreams... granted as splitshot states this is syfy...

I found it surprisingly entertaining. It helped that I my expectations were low. If it had the same hype that hunger games had it wouldn't have been so good.

Plot and script were pretty thin. And Naval officers and personal hesitating or questioning the CO’s orders. I don’t think so. Special effects were good, but the water hopping UFOs were a little lame. It looks like they “barrowed” the alien suits from Halo. Over all I found it mediocre.

it was entertaining but that's really what it's all about..
so an alien ship that comes from space can easily get it's cockpit windows blown out from that distance by 2 snipers? really? .. the conceptual idea was good but ... really?

oh, did you all watch the very ending after the credits where they found the ..... opps, i won't ruin it for you...

Come on guys,it's a movie,entertainment, not the real thing.Those of us who know military, know how things would really be, those of us who watch for entertainment know,that's all it is.Note though it did make me feel good to see our ex-military still hanging in there too. Pure entertainment that's all,not a documentary.
