Need advise, currently, I have an 18” dish with 110 and combo 119, 118.8, with a very old original first style (distorted at the lnb neck) bracket, 110 signal is very strong, but 119 is weak and erratic.
Which method is better:
1. Leave the 110 as is, discard old bracket and install a 20" Bev dish (I currently have) with the combo 119, 118.8 LNB.
2. Discard all and replace with new 24” dish (need to buy) and new style bracket (version 3) for 110,119, 118.8 on same dish.
Or is there a better way?

Thanks

Not quit sure which bracket you are currently using but it sounds like a poor mans bracket - is it one of those that there is not need to skew the dish in order to get 2 sats ?

Either way , when it comes to sat signal , bigger is better - I would recommend that you try the 20" dish .

Not sure what you want? Sounds like you simply want 118,119,110 with the best quality at the lowest price?
For future expansion if you think you might be interested in HD on sat 129 then adding a second dish for now (the bev dish you already have) might be used now for 119/118 and later could be re-aligned to pick up 129.
cheers

To receive all the transponders on 118.8 reliably, you need to use a larger dish....30 inch and up...depending on location.

119 is not a problem.
