if i upgrade to windows 7 will i lose all my pics on my pc? reason is i fix the power supply on my pc last timed used been a year and i forgot my password im using windows vista on a old dell e521? any suggestions thanks

No, you wont loose the photos, you may however loose some programs that may not be compatible with W7, but if you have Vista and they ran fine, they should run on W7.

theres also several programs that will show all your passwords ----also ---- not hard to find

just make sure that you install as an upgrade instead of a clean install ..... to keep your existing files and photos..

DO A BACK UP onto a flashdrive or ex harddrive just in case,you can usually get a 16gb flash for under $30. now ,& you prob will not need one that large
