Can it be done with two 4x1 switches?

It can be done with no switches at all .

Forget the 2 4x1 switches, the DP plus has an internal switch so depending what receivers you hook up to it you may be OK. It is a power hog tho and requires at least 700 mili amps to power it.

How do I connect the recievers to it. I have always used switches.Simply run 1 coax cable from each of the out ports on the dpp plus . One to each receiver.

Thats to flipping easy! Everything I try to do is always hard to do. You are sure about this? Can I add a sd dish to the lnb input with Bev?

I'm confused, are you trying to get DN or BEV? Anyway SD and HD will come in on the same lnbs.

There are many ways that you can use that lnb - it is completely irrelevant whether you connect a lnb that points at sd or hd sats ( basically its 6 of one or half a dozen of the other)

Long and the short......you can use your FTA to get all 3 DN Sats., and use the input on the DPP for 91 or 82 if you choose.....just choose the correct port ( I believe it's port 4 ) and the correct sat for Bev.....and then set the correct setting for that sat, and scan....

Thanks bluesman! I am setting up for DN. I was also asking, There are three outputs on the dish (I think) 110,119,129.
If im not mistaken, there is also one input for another LNB. Is it possible to connect another sd dish to this input for bev?

Sorry StanW! Didn't mean to set you aside. Thank you as well! Just trying to multitask on a one track mind. I set my recievers up in 2003. I have'nt touched them since then. My memorey is getting shorter with each birthday.

All's good zephyrus

Assuming that you have a dpp plus lnb ( 2 out 1 in port) ; the lnb has a built in switch based on diseqc . Out ports 1 and 2 are intended to be connected to one or 2 receivers ( no need for an external switch) port three can be used to connect to an addition external lnb .

The lnb can receive 2 sats 9 degrees apart (ie 110/119 , 119/129, 82/91 etc) . The additional 3rd lnb can be whatever you desire . The lnb , as all fta lnbs will work with both sd and hd satelltes.

In your settings you have to set the left (looking from behind the dish , in this case 119) lnb to diseqc port 1 , the right ( 110) to diseqc port 2) and the 3rd external lnb to diseqc port 3.
