kinda getting disappointed with the DN ppv's the lorax comes out on dvd tuesday but DN not showing it until the 21st same with the three stooges been out for weeks not but still not airing on dn ppv I thought the whole idea of ppv was so that when new releases came out they aired them but it seems like all they keep showing are the same movies week after week

i think they go by popularity. some times what they play and should be played dont make sense but i guess its a matter of opinion.

not all movies will be on PPV the day they come out on DVD.

call Dish Network and ask for new movies

*The Three Stooges (movie) was so bad, it's not even worth pirating

the other option is to download them from a torrent site as they get them long b4 there out on dvd or on satellite.

The summer has always produced the "doldrums" from a tv point of view.Especially prominent in the ppv area, for sure.Thankfully, FOOTBALL is on the way!

And don't forget to tell them just how you watch their encrypted signal. lol

I think we are lucky to have ppv and happy to see that most P$ are opening HD PPV. Personally I prefer to use torrents or my apple tv because they have newer movies. But PPV is a good thing. I remember when a lot of people were complaining when N3 came out and there wasn't any PPV, so people should be happy for what they get.

This fall we plan to get our 1st HD and if the PPV's continue to be cr ap and don't change for weeks on end We're thinking of getting that NetFlicks for $8 a month. Might be better. I understand you can connect a cable from the router right into the TV.

Not sure if you're in Canada or the u.s., but the Canadian version isn't that great.Check online to see the movie selection. The U.S. version is better, and I'm told you can access it from Canada with a proxy server.

I’m in the US and since they lost their contract with Stars (I think thats who it was) a year ago it has really sucked here also. One of these days I’m going to cancel it. The kids rarely watch it unless they want to see whole seasons of a TV show they like.
