Heavy duty, super capacity, 7 cycle, 4 temperature dryer. Will not come on when pushing start button. I can hold the start button down and turn the timer knob to start of the timed drying cycle and it will sometimes start for a about 10 or 15 seconds and then kick off. Is this the start switch or the timer switch?

I would need a model number to know what types of parts your dryer has.

But if you look at this thread: Post number 7

You will see a part called the Thermal fuse, if it's open then the dryer wont start. I don't know if your model has it but chances are it does.

First UNPLUG the dryer.
Then take off the back panel and it should be at the bottom on the vent housing.
I normally check it for continuity but if no meter is available then you can plug both wires together and put a bit of tape to keep them together.
Then plug the dryer back in and see if it turns on.

Do NOT Attempt to touch ANY wires without the dryer unplugged.

If you have any questions let us know.
