Hello
If you want to watch what you are referring to you would need a circular lnb for Ku band not for C band
because they are not broadcast on the c band format and for a receiver there are a few again that would
depend on who the provider would be, there are no free rides on C band for dish and bev the dish is the only
thing that's good for reception. ;)

Lots of stuff on "C" band, a good "C" and "Ku" band LNB will get you a lot of stuff.
One like this one,

And you don't need a new receiver (unless you want one) the receiver you have now will work on "C" band, you will however need a G or V box to run the linear motor on the 6 foot dish.
Some of our "C" band experts can help you out with that.
Is it a mesh dish JW?
A mesh dish will be very poor for picking up DN/Bev
If it's solid then it might work out ok:thumbsup:

I have to agree with Gold that it'll work well if it's a solid. That dish has the potential of picking up hundreds of open fta channels if you use the type of lnbf that Terryl mentioned.
