BIG GAME BY KAMAN LEADS CLIPPERS TO FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Chris Kaman recorded a team-high 22 points and 14 rebounds, as the Los Angeles Clippers won a season-high fourth straight game, 94-84, over Miami at the Staples Center.

Eric Gordon put in 17 points, and Baron Davis doled out a season-high 14 assists and added 11 points for Los Angeles, which is carrying a six-game win streak at home for the first time since November of the 2006 season.

Al Thornton and Rasual Butler had 13 points each while Marcus Camby secured a game-high 17 rebounds.

Dwyane Wade posted 24 points and Michael Beasley 20 with seven rebounds for the Heat, who were coming off an impressive win against Phoenix Friday to kick off a season-long six-game road trip.

"Not what we set out to do today, we were never in it. Kaman and Camby set the tone. This was disappointing. We have to regroup," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra.

LA jumped out to a 30-20 lead after the opening 12 minutes and extended its advantage to 19, 41-22, a short time into the second on a Mardy Collins three- ball.

Wade drilled a three-pointer with about 3 1/2 minutes to go, cutting the deficit to eight, but Butler answered with a three of his own and Kaman followed with a deuce as the Clippers carried a 56-41 lead into the break.

The hosts continued to lead by double digits in the third and widened the gap to 71-54 with 3 1/2 minutes left on a Gordon three and Kaman's layup. LA entered the fourth holding a 79-58 advantage.

"We did a good job defensively, our coverage was good. Dwyane Wade is going to make his plays. We made sure we got the rebounds," said Kaman.

A 9-0 Heat run ending with two free throws by Mario Chalmers with five minutes to play could only get the visitors as close as 13. Thornton hit two at the line close to two minutes later for a 91-75 difference and LA cruised to an easy win.
