LNBs - possibly connecting to FTA receivers directly?

Dish Network LNBs:

1. Dish Network Legacy
2. DishPro
3. DishPro Plus

Does any variation of these LNBs can be used without a switch by being connected directly to FTA receiver or this can only be possible only on particular models of receivers?

When the article refers to "...can directly connect to two tuner inputs or single tuner receivers", does that apply for dish network receiver models only?

That applies to all single tuner fta receivers also. You just have to set it up correctly in your settings menu.
