I was looking through a catalog today and noticed some new products from Channel Master.
They are ASTC(OTA) and QAM(cable) tuner boxes. So basically they're Digital to Analog converters that do both antenna and cable(non-encrypted channels only. Most newer TV's already have this capability, so an alternative for older sets I guess.
The CM7001 is the basic model.
The CM7100 has IPTV capabilities.
The CM7400 has a built in HDD(Dual tuned DVR), and has HDMI output. Also has rubber duck antenna's on the back.
Kind of pricey in my opinion. $107.95, $168.95, and $375 in this catalog (Canadian). I think most people would opt for a new tv set.
