Atv 3 question

What can you do with the apple tv 3 right now as there is no jailbreak can you watch live tv or sports and movies for free I would love to buy the atv 3 but I want to know first about what can be done with it without the jailbreak

atv 2 only u can jailbreak but right now its down my friend has one that why i know

icefilms on xbmc working fine here on atv2 ,until there is a jailbreak you could get a month trial on netflix ,thats about it for free...
