kurt busch fined again for pit road altercation

NASCAR has fined Kurt Busch $50,000 for reckless driving on pit road at Darlington and a post-race altercation with Ryan Newman's crew members.

Busch was placed on probation through July 25 for his actions Saturday night.

NASCAR also fined Busch crew member Craig Strickler $5,000 for interfering with a member of FOX's broadcast team.

Newman crew chief Tony Gibson was placed on probation until June 27 for not controlling his crew members, and crew member Andrew Rueger was fined $5,000 for failing to comply with a directive from a NASCAR official.

The incident began when Busch got a flat tire that caused him to spin with six laps remaining in the race. He did a burnout through Newman's pit stall after stopping to repair his car

of course he was fined, he doesn"t belong to the hendricks team. now all he has to do is come up with some big bucks and appeal to hendricks buddie and all will be forgiven.

i don't remember what it was, but the 2nd thing he did at penske was try to improve his image from that, first thing was have ears pinned back. had a beautiful wife, that didn't last long. nephew at darlington last week said kurt cussed his crew out from beginning of to the end of the race. said it was all the talk in stands, so he switched scanners channel to kurt and sure enough, kurt raising cain about crew & car, said he would check back at times and he was always cussing at them. i believe the inccident was phoenix, the cop and kurt did a promotion the following year.

His sponsor was Crown Royal, way to top shelf for him. Speeding and a DUI, he got with the arresting officer and made public appearences repenting his actions.
He is the same class as Mayfield as far as I am concerned.
When you are at the top of your game and career, you should figure out how to handle it.
Winning takes it's toll, but the cream, always stays on top. JMO

after race, newman told the media kurt must have a chemical imbalance, kurt said they could no longer be friends.
