I have a whirlpool front loading washer Model #WFW9600TWOO that is having an error code F35 happening. Just a little water fills and then nothing happens and the screen says F35. Sometimes the only way to cancel the screen is to go and shut the power off at the breaker. This is happening intermittently but often. My husband is fairly handy. The manual says with these codes it is an electronic failure and call the service man. Can you give us an idea what we could try before we call the serviceman? When we don't get an error message at the beginning of the wash cycle, the machine works fine.

from google, i get this:
To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.
If Pause/Cancel does not work:
Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
Plug in washer or reconnect power.
Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.

The first thing to check is to make sure the drain hose is not going too deep into the drain spout at the back of the washer.
The hose should be only about 2 to 3 inches in.
Are you using HE soap like is recommended?
If not that can also sometimes cause this problem.
There is a pressure switch that has been another cause of this code.
I looked up the part but can't find a picture online,
But first would be to check the drain hose. And to know what type of soap is used.

When I had this problem it was the Pressure switch that was the culprit. <br />

Did some research on the net and most people said that it was their culprit as well so I took the risk or ordering the part...
