sync issue

I have an ipod touch and iphone. I accidently synced then both together. (ie.i download an app on the iphone and it also goes to my ipod.) is their a way to stop this from happening???

if you are using the same iTunes account on both the iPhone and iPod, they will both get all your apps, unless you uncheck the ones that you don't want synced
