Have tried numerous times to set this motor up properly.....my usuals never work right which doesn't matter to me because i can use user or installer...problem being the sats i want are 82,91,110,119 and if i can 129...have 36" dish with invacom dual lnb..running circular only...motech2100 motor...mast is perfect plum...trying to setup at zero for 82 then i should be on belt....after numerous attemps can get 82..S-67 Q-65.....91 s-65 q-85, 110...s-65 q-90...no 119 am at lat 43.4 long-80.5.......of course if i try to get 119 and move dish 82 and 91 fall out and vise versa...have set the motor elevation to 39.9 as requested by my lat and long and get nothing moving dish around tweek it to get the best possible signal on 82 and voila no 119....am i missing something or spend another day running up and down stairs..LOL it seems the elavation # on the dish are not exact at all as i kinda figured out.....long story short if i zero out the motor and rotate the dish to get the best possible signal on 82, not caring what the elev. and crap says is that pretty much the best way to go or should i be aiming for another sat at zero to get the best or closest setting to the belt??? Frustrated....

I always use usals to aim mine, if your having issues with usals check your settings and make sure all of the sats
don't have diseq enabled because it causes conflict with usals. Of course if you choose not to use usals you have other options.

I also aim for the center bird, in your case I would aim at 110 hit a powerful tp and tune on a weak one, then move your dish to the outer bird east or west
and tune it up again trying for the highest Q across all of the birds. That will get your arc.

Thanks looking up dishpointer app on iphone..LMAO...really 110? will give it a go..i setup before on 110 and lost 91 thats why i thought you had to setup closest to your Longitude 80.5.....anyways so go to 110 or 119 and setup then go to 82 and setup i'll try anything...have someone coming with walkie talkys to help today..have you ever used the DishPointer iphone app?? Let me know if i'm on the right track with the start at 110 or 119...THANKS AGAIN

I've never used the app but I do use the dot com version.

I always found it easier to tweak the others after starting in the center because there is not such a wide swing from one sat
to the next or end to end.

If you hit 110 and then either 82 or 129 then the other sats should fall into place easily. You will know right away if you hit
the arc properly and then it is just minor tuning across all of the sats.

Hope this helps and doesn't further complicate things for ya. :)
